IT IS grim to believe that Muhammad Najeeb is no more, but all has to accept the will of Almighty a law of nature. He was a bright, positive and progressive brain to encourage others to show maximum results with zeal of professionalism. Media was his passion; he enjoyed working in close liaison with development sector for media community.
He in entire life believed that media should be facilitated for conduct of quality work. For juniors he was a mentor who encouraged them to grow with honesty of work.
He was always helpful and gracious in giving advice and support to international organizations for their development works for media in Pakistan. Shocking and sudden death of Muhammad Najeeb has saddened the media persons from Gilgat to Turbat. Just two days ago, he visited Karachi and Qutetta to find out new potentials in which development work can be organized for the capacity building of journalists. He conducted scores of workshops on a wide range of subjects from reporting health issues to covering elections.
His role as trainer in media development will be remembered for long time, participants of his workshops are his legacy as he lived in media for the media.
He was a bridge between senior and junior generations of journalists as he always engaged experience for learning in training of newcomers to media. His honesty to media was widely acknowledged. In his 21 years of media career, he made friends because he was an honest friend of media. May his soul rest in peace.
